Welcome

Welcome! To all Parents who are presenting their child for First Confession & Holy Communion, or Confirmation, in our Parish.

Accompany

We want to Accompany you at this precious time in your child’s faith journey, so that this Parish Event will be a joyful and enriching time for your whole family.

Prepare

As part of your Preparation, you, as parents, are required to fully participate in the Parish Programme.

Gatherings

These Gatherings will be held in the Parish Church lasting One hour. It will take place in a relaxed atmosphere & will support your child’s school religious programme. These Gatherings are for the Parents only (not your child). Attendance is Required for the parents in order for your child to receive the Sacrament. There will be a total of Seven Gatherings throughout the year, from Sept to April. Dates and times to be confirmed.

IMPORTANT – YOUR PARTICIPATION

If you wish to present your child for any of these Sacraments, the following is required…

Baptismal Certificate

All children must be baptised before our Gathering on 21st October 2026. Certificates of Baptism for all candidates must be presented on this night.

Attendance at Gatherings

At least one parent MUST attend and sign in at each Gathering, which will take place in the Parish Church.

Mass

Attendance at the Parish Mass on the Sunday immediately prior to each Gathering is required of the child and parents.
